Maxwell Becomes A ‘StoryTeller’ On VH1

R&B veteran Maxwell treated fans to renditions of some of his well loved music recently, on VH1’s storytellers. In the Metropolis Studio of New York City, he performed ‘Get To Know Ya’, ‘Pretty Wings’ as well as the toe tapping ‘Sumthin’ Sumthin”

    No sweetie this just aired last night on VH1, it was only recorded a couple weeks ago. The only people who would have seen it before last night are those who were at the recording.

    Anyway, Maxwell, Maxwell, Maxwell. How I LOVE thee……

    I’m like obsessed with this dude! He was simply INCREDIBLE! Gosh! His music is just classic neo-soul! LOVE, LOVE LOOOOOOVVEEE!!!!!!

    Definitely the king of soul, so smooth, and his sound is smooth and timeless, his songs from his first album 15 years ago still resonate today, the show totally made my Friday night. It was great.

    @Anthony..Luther Vandross..NEVA! There will never be another. I love Maxwell too but that is definitely stretching it! We are all entitled to our preferences and/or opinions but as a die hard Luther fan, that is too far-fetched.
